The Applying Good Equalities Practice project at GCVS has funding from Supporting Voluntary Action to create a Statement of Principles on Equalities and Human Rights for Scotland's Voluntary Sector. This Statement of Principles will be a brief, clear document demystifying legal and best practice issues on equalities and human rights. It will be designed for Voluntary Sector organisations of all shapes and sizes. It will be outcome focussed and linked to a bank of existing resources which are up to date and easy to use.

It was first suggested by a group of equalities and human rights staff from across Scotland’s Voluntary Sector, in response to a proposal by some English and UK charities on creating a large scale framework on equality and human rights.

There are just four questions in this survey, please help us by completing it: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/VZYMYT9

We’ll be collecting responses until 1st August 2011.

If computer use is a barrier to participation for any organisation who’d like to contribute, please let them know that in these circumstances we can agree to collect responses by telephone or in person.
