Support for Lone Parents - Details of helplines, drop-ins and advice on welfare rights

One Parent Families Scotland are offering a range of services and supports for lone parents in Glasgow.

These include:

OPFS Horizons Sessions

These weekly hubs bring lone parents together and provide a variety of advice, support and training to lone parents from all backgrounds. Specialist Advisors can offer one to one advice & support on welfare benefits, debt, managing your money and support to looking your options and choices in employment, training, education or volunteering 

Lone Parent Helpline

A free and confidential information service for lone parents

 

Choices “One to One” Advice Service for Lone Parents - Advising lone parents on welfare rights

A weekly surgey which provides one to one appointments with a welfare rights officer

 

 

OPFS Membership

Free and available to lone parents. Membership gives you: e-bulletins of relevant information, annual report; Free rights guide (updated yearly); invitations to members events and AGM
