The Employability and Tackling Poverty Learning Network is hosting a further financial capability networking event, focusing on ‘Transforming Financial Behaviours’.
Delegates will be able to:
- Receive an overview of the latest progress with Welfare Reform and how it will impact in Scotland.
- Hear from the Money Advice Service about using insights into behaviour to get people used to making the most of their money, planning for the future and being prepared for unexpected financial shocks.
- Hear about how ‘Transforming Financial Behaviour’ approaches and motivational techniques have been used in practice to help clients become more resilient.
- Consider applying this in your own work and how you might use the information.
- Meet others working in the field and create new contacts
- Feedback thoughts and issues to the Scottish Government and their partners.
